I just got a comment from someone on my friend's list which was pretty much "Hey, someone mentioned you in their blog! Click here!" and provided a link.

No, I didn't click it.  I'm not to keen on following those SPAM links, and those things now DO tend to kinda make themselves appear to be from someone you know so that you follow it through.

Not sure exactly how they take someone's account to send messages from them, or if they are just spoofing them, but if you see something like that from me, it's not real.  Don't click it.

Besides, those of you who know me already know that I CAN'T be that generic in a message...and it is too much work to have a spam bot say as much as I normally do....
